Visitor Information
Visitors of all ages are invited to our Splash! program on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. from July 7 to August 30. The tour offers a brief overview of MDIBL and a fun opportunity to learn about genetics and marine life with special Lego® DNA and our touch tank. We also host two Family Science Nights each summer and numerous lectures, all free to the public. Please see Events for more information. Click here for driving directions.
MDIBL’s Conference Center is located on the north side of Old Bar Harbor Road (also known as Old Route Three). The center consists of Dahlgren Hall, which is the old Salisbury Cove schoolhouse recognizable by its wooden bell tower, and Maren Auditorium, which sits behind Dalhgren Hall and is linked to it by a reception space. The dining facility, known as the Co-op, is located across Lab Road from Maren and Dahlgren. Parking is available on the opposite side of Old Bar Harbor Road.
