Laboratory space is avaible to rent on a seasonal basis. Investigators who wish to utilize laboratory space at MDIBL must submit the required Application for Space. All applications for space will be reviewed by the MDIBL Scientific Advisory Committee and the Director. The height of seasonal research is June to September. In addition to laboratory space, on-campus housing is also available.

Location: The seasonal use MDIBL laboratory facilities are sited on two sides of a rocky point overlooking Frenchman Bay. Individual laboratories range in size from ~ 125 to over 400 square feet.

Features: Laboratories have high speed internet, epoxy floors, acid-resistant countertops, as well as running fresh and salt water. Several laboratories have adjacent offices integrated within the building. Building layouts can accommodate collaborative teams in adjacent laboratories within single buildings.
