Welcome to the MDIBL housing directory. On-site housing includes cottages, dormitories, and efficiency apartments. MDIBL cottages are similar to traditional rustic summer cottages found throughout rural and seaside America. They typically are open stud structures designed for practicality and necessity, built on beautiful sites. The cottages include gas hearths, electric or gas ranges, refrigerators, toaster ovens or microwaves, standard cookware and dishes, sofas, beds, and standard bathroom facilities. There is no air conditioning in the cottages, and they are not insulated. Cottage and apartment occupants must furnish blankets, linens, and towels; these are provided for students in dormitories except in the summer, when students must bring their own linens and towels. Meals are served in the cooperative dining hall from mid-May to mid-September.
