Myers Aquarium

Myers Aquarium is the focal point of MDIBL's summer tours. The aquarium's centerpiece is a large circular tank filled with skates and dogfish sharks. The middle tank is flanked by a touch-tank on one side and tanks holding blue lobsters on the other.

Myers Aquarium hosts some rare animals--two blue lobsters live in the tanks nearest to the wall. Killifish, eels, and crabs live in the third tank.

The touch tank contains a variety of marine species. MDIBL staff describe touch tank organisms, their habitat, and behavior.
