Foundation Preparation

The lower lab parking lot is a hive of activity as workers prepare to unload steel to be used in the new laboratory building's foundation. Click for a larger image.

Workers from N.S. Giles Foundations, Inc., a local company from Bangor, Maine, began preparing for the new laboratory building's foundation on February 27. When the final rocks and fill are removed from the site foundation workers will begain setting the concrete forms.
